	How long has M.B& A been in business? M. B. & A. was born in May 2001. Even though we're still in our infancy, our people bring decades of experience...from trade courses in junior high school to current state contractor qualifications. Who will be assigned as a project supervisor for your job? Each project under taken by M. B. &. A. will have a "lead man" assigned to it. This person will be your first line of communication with questions, concerns or problems. If any situation isn't met to your satisfaction, then by all means, feel free to contact the owner of the company, Mark Bores, with your questions or inquiries. What will be the time frame for starting your project? Depending on the scope of your project, the time frame from start to finish may vary from just a few days to as much as three to four weeks. Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day. When M. B. & A. starts your project, they'll continue it until completion. Unlike most of our competitors, we'll stay on your project exclusively. Someone will be there every day with the exceptions of unfavorable weather conditions or material availability. M. B. & A.'s approach to your project. In most cases, we'll arrive by 8:30 a.m. and wrap up the day at 4 p.m., Monday thru Friday. If for some reason we're going to be late or unavailable for the day, you'll receive a call the night before or in the morning. The first step will be to cover your floor covering with tarps or plastic on the walkway to the work area. Make sure any items that you wish to remain dust-free are removed from the work area. The first day's work will consist of demolition and preparation. Generally, the next day's work will be consisted of framing, plumbing and electrical work all in preparation for the new installation. After that, things will progress as necessary. At the end, we'll remove all the debris and vacuum or broom clean the area. Once the job is near completion, we'll ask you for a "punch list" of items that you feel are in need of attention. During the entire process feel free to ask any questions or voice any concerns you may have. Our staff is always willing to listen to your requests, as well as offer any suggestions that might make your project look and function better. How does M. B. & A. operate? M. B. & A.'s employees do almost 99% of the work themselves. When it comes to major electrical and plumbing work, we'll bring in qualified professionals who have worked with us in the past and understand our need for high-quality workmanship. We'll also bring in trade specialists as needed for your job. M. B. & A. is a full service remodeler and builder. Our experience ranges from small repair work that may only take a few hours to construction of a house from plans to move-in. Does M. B. & A. have any design services available? If you are considering a large or involved project, you will need design services. M. B. & A. has several architects, surveyors and interior designers that we can recommended for your use. These professionals understand our high standards of craftsmanship and design. Does M. B. & A. carry the proper licensing and insurance? M. B. & A. is licensed by The Commonwealth of Virginia's Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation. We also carry $1,000,000.00 of liability insurance. What percentage of M. B. & A.'s business is repeat or referral business? 100 percent. That speaks volumes for the work we've done in past. Just ask us for a list of satisfied customers. How many projects like your has M. B. & A. completed in the past 12 months? The answer is probably more than a dozen times. Overall, there hasn't been much that we haven't done. Will you need a permit? Most exterior building projects in Hampton Roads are required to have a permit issued by the local municipality; similar interior remodeling projects don't require a permit as long as no major structural, electrical or plumbing work is involved.
